Faith Over Fear Friday's: Trust Him!

Before we get into this weeks topic, lets recap. For the pass few weeks I have been sharing about how:

1. Better Is Coming - God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind.

2. God Will Provide - The importants of prayer and worship and keeping his commandments.

3. Come As You Are - You don't have to be prefect for God. You can come just as you are and He will take care of the rest if you allow Him to.

Now that you have done all of the above, it's time to trust Him!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

We have to trust Him and get out of the way. His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are not our ways. I know He may not have come when YOU wanted Him to but He is always on time! He will never leave you nor will He forsake you. When you can't trust nobody, when you can't find nobody, when you have cried all you can cry and done all that you can do. He will still be right there saying "cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you" 1 Peter 5:7. So put your trust in Him. He never fells. He is not a man that he shall lie. Trust in Him. Him only, you can depend on Him.

I would like to share a song that helped me through in one of the darkest times of my life. I am a lover of music so while listening to something else by accident I came across this song by the legendary Twinkie Clark from the Clark Sisters and Pastor Rance Allen. As tears began to flow. I quickly realized that God makes no mistakes and He was speaking to me through this song since I clearly wasn't listening to Him no other way. God chose something that He knew would get my attention and it changed my life forever. I made the choice to trust in Him alone and depend on Him. Until you do the same YOU will never know.
