Faith Over Fear Friday's: Better is Coming!

Updated: Apr 17

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

What is Faith?

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

What is Fear?

Fear is an unpleasant strong emotion caused by a awareness of danger. Have you been fearful regarding the current unforeseen circumstances that we all find ourselves in today? Of course anyone would be afraid. Being forced into change is hard. Accepting this new reality is even harder.

What To Do?

When you feel fearful, worried, confused, etc. remember what God has already given us.

  1. Power

  2. Love

  3. Sound Mind

I'm truly grateful for this because that means that we already have the power within us to overcome any situation. So fear not. Love, this is the time to help those in needs and love on your love ones. Take this downtime serious for there is a reason things has come to this. Yes this is hard to believe for anyone and in moments of stress, pressure, or fear or when you’re so exhausted you can’t think straight, let me assure you: You’re not going crazy! God’s Word declares that you have been given the a sound mind that works even in the craziest and most difficult situations!

We must do our part just like the media says, however it's up to us as individuals to not forget to pray. So do your part to slow the spread by social distancing, staying home and praying. Pray for God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Yes some days will be better than others but don't give up. Don't give up because He won't give up on you. He is able to do above all that we could ever ask or think in His timing. Have you ask Him for anything lately? If you ask not, you have not. Let the change began with you. Start asking! Don't let your fear win and out weigh your faith. Things will get BETTER because God is in control!
